- With just three minutes to go in the fourth quarter at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, it has become apparent that the Navy Midshipmen will claim their ninth straight win over the Army Cadets.
Army made a push to close the 24-10 gap, but Navy (even with four turnovers) has pulled ahead 31-17.
The Midshipmen avoided an Army touchdown late in the second quarter when senior Wyatt Middleton returned a fumble by Army quarterback, Trent Steelman, for 98 yards and a touchdown-the longest fumble return in school history.
And the momentum of this entire football game drastically shifted in Navy's favor. If anyone missed this game you missed a great game! Navy just DOMINATED over Army. I'm a huge Navy fan, and to see Navy beat Army for the 9TH YEAR IN A ROW is just insane! | |
